With 20 years' experience as a mental health clinician (including 10 years specialising in perinatal mental health and counselling) I combine clinical counselling with practical coping strategies in order to help new mums (like you) transition into their new roles.
And as a mum to two rambunctious boys, I understand well the challenges that mums face!

I have established therapeutic skills in assessment, crisis and psychological interventions for a range of mood disorders such as , anxiety, depression, bipolar, psychosis, personality disorders and OCD.
For mums who aren't coping (due to feeding/sleep issues or mental health issues), I will often work in partnership with psychiatrists and GPs to consider medication and/or admission to mother-baby units or residential stay programs.
